About Pavan Anirudh Poosarla
I am a product development engineer passionate about applying machine learning and AI techniques to engineering problems in manufacturing, systems monitoring, and automation. I have five years of experience in semiconductor industry as a process and systems engineer in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary R&D environments. Over my career, I have successfully applied data based machine learning methods to use cases in process control and tool monitoring for wide range of applications including virtual metrology, failure detection, process deviation, predictive maintenance, calibration drift, etc. I hold a PhD from Iowa State University and a Bachelors from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, specializing in mechanical (major) and systems (minor) engineering. Also completed an online data science bootcamp from Springboard (600 training hours), multiple online courses and projects related to data wrangling, data visualization, machine learning and deep learning using python.
