ABOUT PAVANKUMAR KADAM
I’m a Mechanical Engineer with more than 12 years of experience delivering structural and lifing analysis solutions for aerospace propulsion and airframe systems. My work spans gas-turbine components, electric propulsion units, and eVTOL structures, combining classical hand-calculation methods with advanced finite-element modeling to ensure safety, reliability, and certification readiness. At Rolls-Royce Electrical Deutschland, I help design and validate electric propulsion systems for Urban Air Mobility. I perform thermo-mechanical and vibration analyses on stators and rotors, verify stiffness and stress margins through analytical checks, and support certification documentation that links simulation with real-world testing. Previously at Honeywell Aerospace, I led structural integrity and life-assessment projects for gas-turbine static and rotating hardware. My responsibilities covered Fan Blade Out (FBO) certification for P33 and P25 subsystems, correlation of FEM results with physical tests, and development of component-level test definitions for FAA Part 33 compliance. I regularly applied free-body diagrams, energy-balance equations, and load-path calculations to validate numerical models.
