ABOUT PAVAN KUMAR K.
I’ve always been drawn to how light can be used to solve real-world problems. That passion led me to a career in Optical and Laser Technology, where I work on designing, simulating, and building systems that bring ideas to life. Over the years, I’ve been involved in projects ranging from optical sensing and laser systems to precision manufacturing. I’ve taken designs from concept through simulation, fabrication, and final testing. Along the way, I’ve collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges, improve system reliability, and deliver results that directly impact product performance. One achievement I’m proud of is fabricating micro-lens on the VCSEL emission window. This improved optical alignment, reduced setup time, and simplified the free-space measurement setup used for optical feedback analysis. What I bring is a balance of design thinking and practical problem-solving. I enjoy working across disciplines and making sure every detail from the simulation to the final product meets a high standard. I’m always open to connecting with others in optics, lasers, and advanced manufacturing.
