I conducted comprehensive additive manufacturing simulations using Ansys Additive, specifically focusing on the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) process. This included simulating the deposition of successive layers and subsequent heat treatment of the 3D-printed part. Through detailed analysis in Ansys Workbench, I successfully identified and addressed overheating challenges, and performed distortion compensation to optimize the final part geometry.
