As General Counsel responsible for India & APAC, I lead a team of 20+ individuals including talented lawyers and compliance professionals. Litigations & arbitrations (domestic and global), M&A, Trademarks, cross border transactions (including those for EMEA where the parent company is the contracting entity), dealing with regulators, etc. are some of the areas that we, as a team, deal with on a regular basis. Strategising and advising management on developing regulations/ statutes with risk mitigation solutions along with working with industry bodies is a priority area of focus.I’m also a member of the ICC under POSH and the committee leading diversity across the company.
