Strategic Program Leadership: • Successfully designed, onboarded companies, and launched the Deforestation-Free Call to Action for Leather in June 2023, securing commitments from over 20 global brands and retailers > USD 700B in market value to halt deforestation and conversion from their bovine leather supply chains by 2030.• Led and coordinated discussions and decisions with initiative partners, WWF and the Leather Working Group, through strategic workplans, stakeholder workshops, and workstream planning and execution.• Currently developing organization-wide framework for 2030 commitments for cotton, wool, nylon, polyester and MMCFs that drive beneficial environmental and social impacts.Technical Leadership & Partnership Development:• Led the development of comprehensive technical guides and tools to support signatories in achieving deforestation- and conversion-free supply chains, leveraging existing best practices (CDP, AFi, UNGC) and targeted stakeholder consultations.• Forged partnerships with industry experts, NGOs, and the beef sector to build alignment on the sector’s approach to addressing deforestation and conversion risks within cattle production systems.• Currently driving internal and external processes to align and finalize 2030 commitments across diverse geographies and material production systems.
