About Paul Renaud
For the past nine years I have overseen the Gift in Kind program for Rise Against Hunger, a non profit organization dedicated to eradicating hunger by 2030. In my role as Procurement Director, I have secured donations of food commodities, medical supplies, school back packs, and hygiene products. I have worked closely with a wide variety of donors, both for-profit and nonprofit. By providing exceptional customer service to both our donors and beneficiaries, I have grown our GIK program from $7.6M in 2012 to over $36M in 2019, equating to over $200M in revenue. In 2012, I initiated a partnership with a multinational company, which, now in its 8th year, has resulted in donations exceeding $15M in cash and micronutrients that have been incorporated in over 300M meals. My background as a pharmacist and familiarity with developing country health and nutrition needs has contributed to my success in procuring life changing aid for our beneficiaries. I have experience with international shipping (both sea and air freight), import and export of product donations, and compliance with Gift in Kind standards.
