WORK HISTORY
Managing Director @Downstream Advantage Ltd
St. Ives, GB
My career as chartered chemical engineer has encompassed a wide variety of roles within large multi-nationals such as ExxonMobil and Shell, market leading oil refinery catalyst suppliers such as AkzoNobel and Johnson Matthey, to renowned equipment suppliers such as Nutter Engineering and Emtrol. I incorporated my own company, Downstream Advantage Limited, in 2016 in order to build on my extensive experience in the downstream oil refining and chemicals sector to provide bespoke consulting, support and service engagements to clients right across the sector and the globe.I have built a strong reputation as a pro-active, customer-oriented and trusted service provider in my industry. I have built strong, respectful and mutually beneficial relationships across the board, from operators to senior oil industry managers in national oil companies, independents and multi-national oil refining and chemical companies. My success in business development is based on my deep technical and operational understanding of oil refineries and chemical companies and my proven sales and relationship management skills developed over the years, whilst meeting challenging sales targets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America.Over time, I have managed and led different sized teams - from local engineering teams, virtual sales teams to technical service teams across different markets and time zones.
