The brainchild of Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the first person to sail solo non-stop around the world, the 2023-24 Clipper Race event will be the 13th edition. The round-the-world race is divided into 8 legs and includes 13 – 16 races. The fleet of identical 70 ft racing yachts and amateur crews compete at a level normally the domain of seasoned professionals. Each crew member completes four weeks of rigorous training before the race start from Portsmouth Harbor on September 3, 2023.
