RD Financial Recruitment, based in Windsor, Berkshire, is a privately owned consultancy managed by qualified accountants with extensive senior level financial experience including the recruitment of large accounting teams. Our previous experience, as both recruiters and candidates, provides us with an excellent insight to the recruitment needs of clients and the career ambitions of our candidates. ABOUT PAUL RYAN
I am the MD of RD Financial Recruitment. Let me share a few things about my accountancy background and why the team at RD are ideally placed to help with your accountancy recruitment. The truth is I have worked in accountancy for most of my professional career, which includes over 20 years growing RD Financial Recruitment into one of the most respected accountancy recruitment firms in the South. I started my corporate accountancy career with Johnson and Johnson as an Accounting Trainee, and five years later I progressed to a Market Analyst role before I joined Del Monte. Yes, I was one of the men from Del Monte who said yes! During my time at Del Monte, I developed my accounting knowledge and expertise holding the following roles; Finance Analyst, Finance Controller, Finance Systems Manager and latterly Consolidation and Strategic Manager. At Del Monte I also became responsible for the recruitment, training and development of the finance teams. While in this role I began to appreciate the huge gap in the accountancy recruitment market for a recruitment service delivered by a team that understands, in-depth, the many varied finance roles growing organisations need. So twenty years ago, myself and Geoff Dowling, also a Chartered Management Accountant, launched RD Financial Recruitment. At the same time, we were also involved in helping local businesses with their accounting requirements and offering individual companies invaluable strategic advice. During this time, I became the part-time FD of two expanding pharmaceutical companies helping them grow from scratch to organisations with a combined turnover of over £15M.
