I am a project management (PMP) and business professional who has worked with large and small teams, local or remote, across multiple business elements - even across the oceans - to get work done in a documented, efficient, and measured manner. I am comfortable in Agile or Waterfall worlds - whatever is best to efficiently and professionally deliver products and services to our customers. My career has spanned multiple industries: Healthcare, eCommerce and Payment Gateways, Fraud Prevention, SaaS, Structural Engineering, and voice recognition applications for call centers. I can manage project lifecycles or product lifecycles successfully.Trained originally in journalism, I have solid writing and speaking skills, and am comfortable working under duress to meet hard deadlines.I can be creative to find new approaches to work, I look for expertise in others, and disciplined enough to document and track my work to a successful conclusion.As I do more business communication and business intelligence, I have found that I equally enjoy figuring out what makes businesses more successful - looking at revenue or the bottom line. The baseball fan in me appreciates statistics and looks to make conclusions from valid data rather than begin with a conclusion or opinion and build statistics to support that conclusion. Training in COBIT and SOX compliance gives me an appreciation for making sure that IT meets business objectives for my company and its clients.And, I love to coach. I train others in what I know, I share what I learn willingly, and want to help others reach their maximum potential.I love competition but I want to see everyone eventually win.Specialties: Project Management/PMO, Process Improvement, COBIT, SOX compliance training, CSTE certification, historical and behavioral research and I am a great baseball play-by-play voice.
