ABOUT PAUL OLIVER
I am an experienced international development expert with expertise in development economics and economic growth programming. My core skills include economic analysis, policy analysis, program design, statistics, and writing. I work best in the nexus between technical and diplomatic work in positions that require the ability to grasp detailed technical topics and communicate them effectively with senior government leaders for informed decision making. I currently work with USAID/Ukraine where I serve as the Deputy Director of an office of 25 staff and a portfolio of $1.5 billion in economic growth programming. Previously, I worked as an economist with USAID/Liberia and USAID/Washington. I have worked with more than 20 USAID Missions in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, the Caucuses, and Central Asia.
