Outside of consulting, he has helped raise funds to support the development of the Tanzania Project, a medical mission created by the Phil Simon Project, an organization supported by the Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA. Through it\'s biannual efforts, it has brought medical supplies, doctors, and veterinarians to Tanzania in an effort to promote a One Health initiative. To date, the Tanzania Project continues to train and educate people in Arusha, including having put 3 Tanzanians through medical school. In 2018, it broke ground to create a medical facility for the people and animals (livestock and pets), and is helping to institute a rabies vaccination protocols.
