ABOUT PAUL MURRAY

I am an internationally experienced ERP and Finance (FCCA) Professional, with a wealth of solid accounting and systems knowledge combined with proven analytical, communication and time management skills gained across a diverse range of ERP Projects and Finance Roles. I began my career in Finance and as my career has progressed, I have moved into roles with more focus on ERP and Systems, but Finance has always been at the core of my work, and where I am driven to develop my career. I completed my ACCA qualification while working during the days and studying at night/weekends, achieving Fellow (FCCA) status is something I am very proud of. Strategy and growth are my underlying passions that drive my work and career forward, with a focus on problem solving and always giving 110%. I enjoy learning new skills, taking on new challenges and finding solutions for them and then sharing them with others. I adapt to the demands of each project and rise to the challenge of quickly understanding their system and finance requirements to produce solutions. I have seamlessly transitioned between multiple systems and Finance roles; I wear many hats. I learn the intricacies of different systems quickly, take on increased responsibility as Finance Project Lead and deliver on Go-Live Targets, this has resulted in being offered Senior Finance roles.I have what I call a ‘Bi-lingual’ skill, this allows me to talk to the people in the business in their own language e.g. the Financial Accountant versus the BI Consultant and translate between them, which has been key in successfully ensuring business users are on-board and engage with the implementation project.Core skills; include teamwork, leadership, mentoring, personal motivation, organisation and time management skills as well as being a good communicator, listener and being patient and calm under pressure.I look forward to connecting with you on LinkedIn and am open to discuss opportunities aligned with my skill set.
