Passionate about life, family, & business. Constantly striving to create a smile, which I personally believe is something so underrated in everyday life. Yes, life is not always kind, but a warm smile can make such a difference.Having left school at 16, I started my apprenticeship as a pipe-fitter/welder a few days later. I still remember asking my boss at the time,\"When are we finished for the summer holidays?\", only to learn that all I got was 15 days holiday for the whole year… Welcome to the big world!Learning the joys of becoming a pipe-fitter & TIG welder didn’t really fit well with my dreams and desires to become a professional cyclist! So instead I went down the route of installing shiny pipes (known these days mainly as ASME BPE high purity tube & fittings) in many pharmaceutical facilities throughout the UK. I have been fortunate to continue learning and still enjoy the thrills of high purity pipework and process components for the last 30 years and counting.My dreams and desires to become a professional cyclist slowly took several reality checks, but 30 years on I still dream about riding the many mountain passes of the world. Outside of my passion for family and becoming a 50-year-old Tour de France rider, my biggest crusade is to rid the world of over-compressed gaskets and educate the world that high purity hoses are in fact works of art*…*It even said that in the early days of Picasso\'s works, he created many hose pieces! Honestly story.
