ABOUT PAUL MILLS

Paul is a finance leader, eager to work with and across a wide range of functions and disciplines in order to get the right data in the hands of the people who need it. As Director of Finance Business Partnering at OmniaBio, he is deeply embedded in the operational and the strategic decision-making processes of the company. He is responsible for the FP & A function, providing strategic advice to various business leaders, overseeing the budgeting function and driving business growth. Previously, as the Director of Finance and Operations at Veyron, a real estate developer, he was responsible for financial management, reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, taxation and compliance, and cash flow management. His role was heavily project based. Before that, Paul was a Director of Finance for Kroman Capital Advisory, a boutique real estate consulting firm. He assisted real estate developers in creating investment vehicles (LPs/mutual fund trust) to raise capital for their projects. Paul also assisted developers from an asset management perspective while overseeing the FP & A team in addition to the accounting team. Lastly, Paul was involved in business development that helped multiple the companies revenue. Prior to that, Paul was a Senior Accountant with Deloitte Private practice where he helped Canadian private businesses take control of their financial performance. Paul delivered assurance services to clients across an array of sectors including technology, manufacturing, mining and retail. Paul is a Member of CPA Ontario, has a Masters of Accounting program (MACC) Honors, Bachelor of Accounting program (BAcc).
