About Paul Knopp

I am honored to be Chair and CEO of KPMG in the United States. I owe a debt of gratitude to the many people and teams I have worked with at KPMG. We succeed as one firm, composed of many great teams delivering the highest quality services to our clients. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, my career at KPMG started 36 years ago in the San Antonio, Texas office. Since then I have served in our offices in New York, Norfolk, Stamford, Chicago, and St. Louis. I have enjoyed every experience and stop on my journey and have been incredibly fortunate to work with so many KPMG colleagues across the world. My experience working with a number of large clients and diverse teams and my past service on our KPMG board of directors has given me a great appreciation of our business and the needs of our clients. I look forward to driving growth at KPMG by building trust with stakeholders, leading inclusive teams, and serving our clients with integrity and excellence. I’ll share my thoughts here from time to time, and I look forward to connecting on the road ahead.
