After taking voluntary redundancy, I founded Tawemedia Ltd to deliver Welsh Government initiatives in eBusiness development, business start-up support, and growth services. These programs allowed me to work directly with business owners, helping them leverage technology to enhance operations and improve their market positioning.A key project was delivering the Visit Wales ICT Diagnostics initiative, which supported tourism businesses across Wales. Through this program, we helped clients optimise their technology, including telephony, web security, and internet presence, while educating them on e-crime prevention and digital marketing.Following this contract, I won an 18-month audit contract with Visit Wales to evaluate the project’s impact by collecting data from over businesses and coordinating with the Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) for comprehensive reporting.I also partnered with Software Alliance Wales (SAW), a £13.4 million program supported by five Welsh universities, including Swansea and Aberystwyth. This initiative aimed to help Welsh businesses unlock ICT potential, where I developed and delivered courses on WordPress, Social Media, Cloud Computing, SEO, and website design. This led me to establish training and hot-desking facilities in Carmarthenshire, creating a collaborative learning space.Additionally, Tawemedia Ltd provided comprehensive digital services, including website development, hosting, domain registration, IT consultancy, and hardware and software setup. This journey was instrumental in promoting technology-driven business growth across the Welsh business landscape.
