I asked one of my friends how he would describe me and he said an adaptable creative thinker. I think that\'s what makes me a great software test analyst Once I have an understanding of what is required,I am able to see potential ways to discover bugs in software, or conduct exploratory tests to find bugs. I am a tester not a coder, although I have written my own sql code to conduct database testing within that environment, in a previous role.In my current role I am utilising manual testing, mostly functional and some user acceptance testing as well as some automation for regression testing, using protractor with selenium webdriver (Angular JS and Jasmine JS) for end to end testing. I am also currently using Katalon studio using groovy language for user story testing. Despite not having any previous experience with angular js, I have completed a full automation suite to be able to test that updates to the products do not effect our customer base. I have experience with selenium IDE, HPs UFT for browser automation. I am proactive, I\'d rather do today and problem solve rather than rush a job at the last minute,I have the capacity to assimilate new information quickly, mostly down to my time time in the RAF, where the rules and regulations were continually changing and I had to learn to adapt quickly. To some extent this has made me process driven but able to work within a framework. Lastly I have an eye for detail and I\'m thorough with my testing. In the last four years I have a reputation for being thorough and was known in a previous role as the \"digital wrecking ball\" as my defect discovery rate is quite high. I have an ability to break everything. This is not usually a problem with a dedicated test environment.
