Serve as the Operations Manager for Veteran Services and provide program development and management for a wide range of services focused on reintegration issues affecting veterans and their families. This includes employment training and apprenticeship programs, financial assistance, military transition assistance, incarcerated transition assistance, and homeless assistance programs such as the Federally funded Homeless Veterans Reintegration Project. Provides a wide range activities and responsibility for developing programs that provide direct services for veterans and their families on a statewide level. This position is strategic in nature and is responsible for developing programs that align various services and program objectives to achieve better outcomes for veterans and their families. This position develops grant proposals for Federal funding. It also performs highly complex and technical work such as developing program performance measures, staffing plans, budgets, and operational procedures. This position monitors a large volume of budget and spending activity to ensure that all programs are operating within their allocated resources and within their spending plans.
