ABOUT PAUL JOHNSON BALRAJ

As a visionary, growth-focused leader and transformative change agent, I bring extensive experience leading efficient, top-performing HR departments, teams, and functions across multiple countries including the U.S, Canada, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and Japan. Throughout my career, I have seamlessly integrating people, systems, and processes throughout several mergers with high employee engagement levels. I also consistently achieve aggressive HR outcomes and deliver innovative HR solutions to address challenging business issues. My strengths include driving organizational and culture change in highly ambiguous, diverse, and rapidly growing environments.Selected highlights from my career include: Integral in executing post-acquisition of (730 million USD) Patni Computers into IGATE (230 million USD) and then IGATE (1.2 billion USD by then) into Capgemini North America(13 billion USD); drove successful integration of people, systems, and processes with focus on Transaction, Transition, and Transformation. Drove cultural integration by establishing culture based training developed based on Human Moral foundation and Cultural sensitivity for HR team and North America operational heads, defining the cultural mapping of IGATE with Capgemini, and facilitating change while retaining employees. Led efforts for IGATE to become one of the top 10 companies listed on the Best Employer list; consistently moved up three spots on the list YoY to achieve 2nd Best Employer status in Greater Toronto Region by AON Hewitt. Completed HR due diligence for the $760M acquisition of Patni Computers, a company 3x larger, and seamlessly integrated all North America Patni employees into IGATE with only a 8% turnover rate post-integration.
