I am a conservation and development professional driven to advance equitable, sustainable, and pro-environment programs, ensuring both nature and communities thrive. With 20+ years multi-sector experience as an adaptive program and project director, I synthesize vision with detailed attention to accomplish organizational goals. Skilled at designing, implementing, and evaluating strategic initiatives anchored in collaborative and inclusive relationships. Ever since my first overseas experience as an exchange student in Brazil, I have been engaged in \"all-things global\": teaching myself Spanish, immersing myself in other cultures, and learning about the complexities of global issues, sustainable development, human rights and international relations. I have lived, traveled and/or worked in 25 different countries and co-founded U-Nica (United with La Nicaraguita), a non-profit that provides quality education for underserved children in Barrio Riguero, Managua. Innately curious, I am a lifelong learner, always exploring new ideas and perspectives, and striving to adapt to lessons learned. I firmly believe life starts at the edge of one\'s comfort zone and am passionate about making the world a better place, experiencing other cultures, travel, hiking, bicycling, camping, reading, music, and exploring with my dog.
