In my current role, I am predominantly an Outsourced CFO and a major process improver. I currently serve as the CFO of several of the FAST clients creating quarterly forecasts, management and financial reporting packages, annual budgets, providing strategic operational and financial initiatives, and performing reviews. I also perform a lot of the hard hitting stuff for clients: finding the best talent, interviewing CFO\'s for clients, assisting in the transition of moving high level personnel out to move into an outsourced platform.

I think the best things that I can tell you about myself in summary are as follows:I love Accounting. I love Finance. I love Entrepreneurs and making / saving them money. I think Entrepreneurs need someone who has the same guts they do to ride shotgun in Finance, and I think that person is me. I think that I have built a system and staff at MGA that is imperfect, but unbeatable.Originally, I was a client of the firm when I was the CFO of Bertling Logistics, and Brian Miller was my CPA. We kept in touch after I left there, and years later, he asked me to join the firm to create the FAST Team (the Finance Accounting Support Team). I built the practice from the ground up. I had managed many Accounting and Finance Depts in my Corporate career, but I had never stood up a complete Accounting and Finance practice until I came to MGA. It was very challenging and if you know me, you know I love a challenge. I think that is why I fit so well at MGA as a consultant. 3 years after FAST, I created TASC (Technology and Strategic Consulting). TASC specializes in interim accounting / finance staffing and adding technology instead of headcount to produce forecasting, budgeting, process improvements (both operational and finance related), creating meaningful and pertinent management reporting, recruiting FP & A personnel, and performing accounting cleanup / reconciliation projects when a temp just won\'t do.
