ABOUT PAULINE LEMARRON

My name is Pauline Lemarron, a Kenyan native who gathered #courage to move to Germany to pursue my Bachelors and Masters degrees and career while learning German and immersing myself in the German culture and way of life. I have had the honour of having a career in #communications in Group Communications at Allianz and in #politics at the Hanns Seidel Foundation Kenya & Ethiopia, thereby traversing and gaining experience in the NGO and corporate worlds, thus bringing the best of both worlds.In communications, I leverage my writing, public relations, and analysis skills to produce and share relevant and timely insights with various stakeholders. Specifically, my duties are;•Managing, editing and producing the daily news media review newsletters including process management and controlling.•Managing news agency monitoring (Ticker and Bloomberg Terminal).•Providing media analysis and media research, writing briefings for communications managers.•Researching and editing stakeholder intelligence products e.g. the monthly Olympics reputation or Ukraine situation briefings using digital listening tools such as Talkwalker, PoleCat, Sigwatch and Factiva).•Building and managing an internal \"Trust Community\" on social intranet and writing blogs on #trust with the aim of making trust more tangible to employees through storytelling.•Supporting project management of the Trust program by liaising with flagship operating entities s that they can gain insights from the trust and reputation analyses.In politics, my main responsibilities included;•Spearheading a project for youth female politicians in Kenya dubbed \"Binti Uongozini\" aimed at empowering them with relevant skills in their quest for political office.•Organising workshops and conferences that brought together politicians, policy makers and various stakeholders to discuss pertinent governance issues.•Organising exchange programs between young politicians from Germany (from CDU and CSU political parties) and Kenya from various political parties.•Monitoring and evaluating civic engagement and education workshops in Kisumu, Nyandarua and Laikipia counties.•Spearheading and leveraging partnerships with various local NGOs in Kenya in line with the foundation\'s mission and vision.•Writing reports, blogs and conducting research.
