ABOUT PAULINE ISHERWOOD
I have over 20 years international experience working at Shell in leadership development specialising in Diversity and Inclusion. I established my own business in 2018 and now work as a freelance facilitator for Catalyst, Hemsley Fraser, Mix Diversity Developers and NeuroLeadership Institute. I facilitate both face to face & virtual sessions. I love helping others be the best they can be and I genuinely care. As a highly sought-after facilitator, I interact with the audience to bring theory alive via storytelling, applying edge to discussion and reading the room. I help participants discover new insights and have “aha” moments. I have a proven track of high facilitator ratings from class participants. Participants comment on the energy and fun I bring to a programme. I often hear comments “that was not as bad as I was expecting”. Praise indeed! Inclusion is a real passion of mine whether I am working with a group of senior leaders who want to achieve greater gender balance or working with minority groups to help them understand the rules of the game and inspire them to take action to allow them to achieve success. As a coach I’ve helped my clients increase their skills and confidence by allowing them to think better using the latest neuroscience and following Brain Based Coaching Structure. I have facilitated events across the world, for many different business and cultural contexts, developing a strong cross-cultural expertise. I have personally facilitated programmes in Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East & US. In 2019 I completed the NeuroLeadership Institute Brain Based Coaching Certificate and was then delighted to be invited to join the faculty team. Example of clients I worked with in 2021 include ABB Technology, Disney, Google, JP Morgan & Chase, Juniper Networks, Lidl, Masthaven Bank, Phillips 66, Schlumberger, Severn Trent Water, Shell & Standard Chartered.
