ABOUT PAULINE CABARON

Final-year LLB student at City, University of London, with a focused interest in real estate and finance law.My legal experience spans both UK and overseas legal environments, including exposure to court proceedings in the Philippines and working with lawyers internationally as a Legal Speaking Coach at Patch App, supporting clear and confident professional communication.Academically, I co-led a six-member team, the largest group in our module for a research based industry project titled “AI in Legal Practice: Opportunities, Risks, and Ethical Boundaries” for Birdi & Co Solicitors. Working collaboratively, we coordinated research, strategy and presentation delivery, drawing on each member’s strengths. As co-lead, I also acted as my group’s spokesperson, serving as the primary point of contact during meetings with the module leader and project head. The project was awarded a First-Class grade.Alongside my studies, I currently serve as Finance Officer of the City Women in Law Society, overseeing financial planning and supporting employability-focused initiatives that connect students with the legal profession. Previously, as Events Officer, I led the delivery of multiple flagship events; during my tenure, the Society received an EDI Award and four “Event of the Year” nominations at the Students’ Union Awards.I am currently seeking legal or finance internship opportunities within international firms as I continue to build experience towards a future career as a trainee solicitor.
