Ongoing: • Project manages (1) sustainable freight transportation work (notably truck traffic data visualization) in collaboration with Urban Analytics team and community-based partners, & (2) climate justice research with Southeast Environmental Task Force • Regularly supports 5+ ongoing projects (topics: green stormwater infrastructure, equitable electric mobility, community-based participatory action research, and more) • Conducts 4+ qualitative research and analysis, includes facilitating 20+ informal interviews/focus groups• Fosters new and deepens existing relationships for CNT (from community-based partners to federal gov. staff)• Contributes to periodic grant proposals and renewals (at the $150k -$300k level)Complete:• Copywrote 2 web tools: Urban Flooding Baseline (nominated for 2023 Chicago Innovation Award) and Chicago Truck Data Portal (featured on 9+ media channels, e.g. Chicago Tribune, Grist, NPR\'s WBEZ, others) • Consulted for 4 local governments (City of Chicago, City of Evanston, City of Aurora, Cook County) to provide solutions towards urban environmental sustainability issues with a social equity lens (e.g. wrote 1-pg. introduction to 25+ pg. program proposal for LMI home rehab/retrofits which won $1M in ARPA funds for Evanston)• Designed 5+ digital and/or print resources for environmental justice community-based partners (e.g. An Advocate’s Guide for Land Use Decisions Along the Calumet River using Adobe InDesign)
