I pride myself in being a dedicated student and aspiring Public Health professional, experienced in health education and team leadership. Health is my passion and advocating for the wellbeing of all people around the globe is what motivates me. I am always looking to be challenged and solve difficult, complex problems. As graduate student, I am passionate about learning and am eager to use what I learn in the classroom in a meaningful and resourceful way! My areas of interest include: Maternal and child health, nutrition, substance use, data analysis, project management, community engagement, team building and leadership CliftonStrengths Top 5 Themes: Developer- I am driven to encourage others and support them as they reach their full potential. I feel accomplished when I witness progress of others or of a team. Harmony- I strive for consensus or agreement among party members. I do not particularly like conflict and would rather take the time to learn everyone’s needs and expectations prior to making a decision. Learner- I enjoy the process of learning more than saying that I know something. I always try to learn new things because I see learning as a continual, life-long process. Belief- I hold certain values very close (i.e. altruism, responsibility, honesty, and compassion) and do not waver when I encounter challenges or new experiences. These values play a large role in how I make decisions and go about my daily life. Achiever- I am a hard worker and am driven to complete tasks at the best of my abilities.
