As an international student from Guatemala pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Population Health with minors in Biostatistics, Probability, and Statistics at Lehigh University, my commitment lies in addressing health inequities through impactful research and collaboration. Currently serving as an AI Research Assistant, I work with Prof. Gideon Gogovi, PhD, on developing interpretable neural network models for public health applications, showcasing proficiency in Python coding. My extensive involvement in interdisciplinary projects, such as the Impact Fellowship programs and the Pennsylvania Social Determinants of Health Data Index Project, reflects my dedication to creating measurable systemic change and contributing to community-engaged projects. Additionally, my work on the Autism Screening and Training in Africa (ASTIA) project, which involved developing a culturally appropriate screening tool for West Africa, demonstrates my passion for global health and inclusivity. Engaging in various university activities, from serving on the Student Senate\'s Health, Safety, and Wellness Committee to mentoring fellow students, I am committed to promoting wellness, gender equity, and mentorship within the university community.
