About Paulina Endara
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in the Nolan Hotel School at Cornell University. My research aims to understand and optimize people\'s behaviors regarding sustainable practices along the food supply chains (e.g, coffee). Some questions I am passionate about are: what are the drivers of development for farmers in developing countries? How could we improve the use of technology to enhance farmers\' well-being? How could we use technology to promote transparency along food supply chains? I also graduated from Cornell University with a Master of Science in Hotel Administration, pursuing concentrations in Food & Beverage Management and Food Science. As a result, I worked with a talented group of food scientists to determine the willingness to pay for extended shelf life to reduce food waste. I am a purpose-driven storyteller who aims to collect state-of-the-art data, gather insights, do constant research, and perform analyses to innovate and deliver excellent service. In addition, I enjoy learning the magic behind data management, so I am constantly taking online courses related to python, R, SQL, and any related topic.
