About Paul Hunt
I have been involved with custom machine building and automation as a Controls, Electrical, and Automation Engineer since 1996. Proud to be part of a support and engineering team keeping machinery safe and running & always looking for ways to extend automation into more processes to help the company continue moving forward efficiently and safely. I returned to school (2017) and while working two jobs and being involved with active family life, finished my B.Sc. in EET with minors in IT and music (2021). I am now working to advance my career to the next level combining my varied experiences and education.In the recent past, I have enjoyed doing some freelance writing for Shawn at The Automation Blog, fortunate enough to have built some custom drums for some talented drummers and, I have also been blessed to be able to play the drums now for over 35 years.
