ABOUT PAUL H. SARTORI

Broad experience working with executives and Boards building strong organizational and executive capabilities. Paul has worked as EVP and CHRO globally in diverse large-scale firms such as Novartis, Bausch & Lomb, Covance, PAREXEL and CIBA-Corning as well as several early stage companies in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and medical devices. His career has included senior roles in marketing, organization development, public and corporate affairs and communications as well as HR. His executive experience spans public as well as private companies and managing joint ventures Paul\'s work focuses on helping companies develop and build effective organizations and leadership for managing growth and change. Paul serves on the Boards of KeViRx, Verndari and Liquet Medical. recently was named the VP of Organization Dev and HR for HemoShear. In addition, he serves as an advisor to the founder and to the CEO of ZielBio, and also is serving as VP of Organization Development and HR for HemoShear. Earlier, Paul was a VP for Cavion, a start up pharmaceutical company sold to Jazz Pharmaceuticals in August 2019, and also was Entrepreneur in Residence for the Charlottesville BioHub. Specialties include leadership and change management; establishing and building executive teams; organization transition and development and key succession planning; and executive recruiting, advising and coaching. A native of Boston, Paul resides in Charlottesville VA.
