Listen to the Why, Founding Story, and Hope: https://youtu.be/dE_QUi4wbKsThe goal of The Mentoring Partnership is collective impact for youth, partner organizations, and schools throughout the county. Our most important outcome is that every partner organization has the right number of mentors/volunteers they need and those mentors are spending increasingly more transformative quality time with their mentees. We do this using the collective impact model, serving as the backbone organization. We source adult mentors and/or volunteers through a formal process; recruit, screen, train, and match them with partner organizations.As we do so, we help partner organizations serve more youth and serve them better. Our vision is that every youth who needs a mentor has one. If we win, kids win - but so do youth-facing partners, schools, mentees, families, the future workforce, and the county. This is why we are structured for collective impact. Our slogan is “One Mentor Changes Countless Lives.” We need more mentors. We know they’re out there.
