Paul Hackner is an award winning sound designer and mixer who was born in South Africa, raised in Los Angeles, and attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Paul\'s 20+ year career as a sound designer and re-recording mixer has included work on over 150 films and other projects. Notable projects include Drive, Sinister, Chicago Fire, Insidious: Chapter 3, The Revenant, Too Old to Die Young, Stephen King\'s It, The Black Phone, and the Dreamworks Animation\'s Trolls animated features.Although he\'s worked on Hollywood blockbusters, Paul continues to work with indie filmmakers on documentaries and features. Notable indies include the award winning documentary The Garden, Asia Argento\'s Misunderstood, The American Society of Magical Negroes, andP!nk: All I Know So Far. Paul lives in Los Angeles with his wife Angela Hackner and his son Ari.
