About Paul Atkins

I graduated from Wake Forest University in May 2016 with a Master\'s of Accountancy and from North Carolina State University in 2015 and a Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration - Finance. My previous internship experience includes:• IT Risk Assurance advisory internship with EY\'s Financial Services Office in Charlotte, NC during summer 2015. I was responsible for gathering and tracking evidence while assisting with issuing Service Organization Control (SOC) reports and developing metrics for an IT risk profile to be used by a large regional bank.• Supplier risk management internship with Genworth Financial during summer 2014 in Richmond, Virginia. In this role I was responsible for completing supplier risk assessments and developing data security risk metrics. I gained extensive leadership experience as the Executive Vice President of the NC State chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi during the 2014 calendar year.In this role I was responsible for populating and managing tracking tools used to monitor and evaluate chapter progress. I was also responsible for coordinating with recruiters, corporate sponsors, and university administration.
