Paul Grand is MedTech Innovator’s founder and CEO. He has managed MedTech Innovator since 2013 when he created it as a program at RCT Ventures. In 2016, with the financial support of RCT and other sponsors such as Johnson & Johnson, Paul left to run MedTech Innovator as a stand-alone nonprofit. Paul heads MedTech Innovator, the largest accelerator of medical technology in the world. Its mission is to improve the lives of patients by accelerating the growth of companies that are transforming the healthcare system. Paul oversees the MedTech Innovator platform, which is the largest of its kind in the industry and hosts global competitions throughout the year in partnership with AdvaMed, APACMed, Wilson Sonsini, and MedTech Strategist. MedTech Innovator leverages Paul\'s extensive global network in medtech, digital health, and diagnostics. Paul works closely with key stakeholders in medtech and digital health innovation such as entrepreneurs, accelerators, universities, venture capital firms, angel groups, manufacturers, payers, providers, trade associations, and service providers. As a key part of his role, he works with medical technology innovation programs around the globe.
