    Drive strategic supply chain initiatives related to products and service requirements. Cost reduction focus through global sourcing, outsourcing, insourcing and driving overall supply chain guidance in line with both Sea-Bird and Veralto strategy. Partner with and support Research and Development, Production, Engineering, Sales, and Product Management, and other Veralto Operating Companies. Manage key supplier relationships, construct and negotiate critical supply contracts, analyze market data, evaluate supply alternatives and craft negotiating strategies. Participate in design reviews with R&D and suppliers on manufacturability and raw material selection to achieve the most optimal component / service cost. Support, monitor, and evaluate, projects ensuring policies and procedures regarding compliance, commitments, early involvement, supplier selection, supplier evaluation, and supplier development are implemented. Deliver favorable Net Material and Indirect Purchase Price Variance (PPV) by working with current supply base and sourcing new partners, while ensuring highest quality of products/services. Drive reduction of sole source risk within supply chain to elevate on-time delivery and pursue consolidation of supply base where prudent to maximize cost savings opportunities. Lead annual supplier business reviews with strategic suppliers. Represent the Sea-Bird cross functional team in the review and provide feedback to enhance supplier relations in the areas of on-time delivery, cost, inventory reduction, and favorable payment terms. Monitor supply chain risk by managing risk assessments and taking effective countermeasures to reduce overall risk. Provide guidance to team members to enhance the strategic approach to supply chain.
