According to the Gallup Strengths Finder, a weakness is \"a shortage or misapplication of talent, skill, or knowledge\". And I will never forget the character Ensign Harry Kim\'s suggestion that the journey mattered more than the destination. An ideal from Brandon Sanderson\'s works has recently become a mantra I try my best to live by:\"Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination.\" I believe that every person has something unique and important to bring to the table and that each of our lives has meaning and purpose. I have held many roles over the years from retail to customer support and military service. My journey led me to the tech industry where I am currently a Developer at Applause. My strengths are in the web-based realms of JavaScript, React, and HTML/CSS. When I\'m not programming (or reading the Cosmere novels), I love playing with my kids, writing, running, video games, and music of all varieties.
