I am responsible for overseeing & directly contributing to the design of technology infrastructure as an integral component of the company\'s Real Estate programmes (refurbishments, new builds). The designs encompass copper/fibre cabling; cabling containment & routing; LAN/WAN circuits; wireless networks; audio-visual (meeting rooms, Board rooms, Reception/Front of House, collaboration spaces & bespoke installations); telephony/unified comms; CCTV; security access control; Comms & Hub Rooms; End-User Computing & Smart Building technologies. I project manage the delivery & commissioning of the IT infrastructure plus the services & equipment which are supported by it. I manage the procurement, delivery, installation & commissioning of all the IT equipment and devices which will function within the built spaces which includes all of the A-V services in meeting rooms & equipment in the Comms/Hub rooms. I\'m currently assigned to the design & delivery of a new TV studio & Newsroom and separately the design/delivery of a new European Security Control Room (both located in the Netherlands). I work closely with a specialist media broadcasting services company to design the required technology infrastructure for the studio which I will oversee the delivery of. The Newsroom will have 4 large new high-def video walls with multiple content feeds primarily from external sources such as satellite TV & Internet channels. These feeds will require additional cabling infrastructure & services to be designed/installed. The SCR will encompass a new large 12-screen high-definition video wall with multiple incoming CCTV feeds from Shell locations across Europe. Encompasses the design of the new video wall itself; the design of the back-end technology solution; the design of the copper & fibre cabling infrastructure & the logical design of the network which will allow multiple feeds & alerts from multiple sources to be displayed on the video wall screens & the Operator’s Desktop screens.

My delivered built environment projects/programmes encompass UK and international commercial new builds and fit-outs (CAT A); UK and international office relocations; corporate workspace rationalisations; retail space and distribution centre fit-outs and specialist clinical facility refurbishments and new builds. As well as UK policing new HQ build experience and Higher Education new builds and refurbishments experience. I also have experience of soft demolitions, strip-outs and technology decommissioning. I advise on smart building and digital workplace technology solutions accompanied by designing the in-building technology infrastructure to support those solutions and services.
