Live Management Accounts Ltd provides financial leadership and management accounting services to the construction sector.I currently work with clients, from SMEs to PLCs, to provide a range of financial services and solutions to help them achieve their short and long-term objectives, leveraging broad construction industry experience and a proven track record in embedding best practices and high standards for profit margin, cashflow and operational efficiency. I attend monthly client board meetings to provide insights and recommendations, and have assisted a number of clients during the Covid pandemic by producing business plans, cash flow forecasts and management accounts to allow clients to secure funding throughout the downturn, managing furlough claims, redundancies, HR correspondence. I am also currently supporting a technology client in areas including development of software, definition of ideal customer profiles and creation of a value proposition, elevator pitches and SEO keywords. Most notably, I have been instrumental in executing strategies to help clients achieve significantly healthier cash flows, profit margins and reduced overheads, by improving management information and cost control. I successfully automated manual, time-consuming financial and commercial processes to limit time spent on non-valued added activities, and I spearheaded the implementation of complex system conversions. In addition, I introduced and implemented a range of applications for clients, including Xero, Planyard, Dext, Float and Futrli, to improve accounting, bookkeeping and management information, and developed a robust Excel-based CVR and management accounts pack that could be linked to other software packages (e.g. COINS, Sage) to provide real-time data to senior managers.
