    Responsible for developing and expanding the BioCyc.org (https://biocyc.org/) and Pathway Tools business unit. SRI International, founded as Stanford (University) Research Institute, is a California-based nonprofit scientific research organization that performs client-sponsored research and development for government agencies, commercial businesses, and private foundations.BioCyc.org is an organism-centric collection of over pathway/genome databases (PGDBs), each of which includes an organism\'s annotated genome and its computationally inferred metabolic pathways and operons (when appropriate) plus other information. The databases of many model and highly studied organisms have been curated with data from over peer-reviewed publications. BioCyc also provides an integrated collection of software tools for analyzing, visualizing, and searching PGDB and user-supplied data. Pathway Tools is a desktop and server application that provides all of the functionality of BioCyc but adds the ability to create and edit pathway/genome databases and construct quantitative metabolic models.
