Experience
President and General Manager, Regional Office Group
Jan 1988 — Present
2008-Present: Kansas City, Missouri 19••••08: Project Engineer, Project Manager, Regional Manager – Denver, Colorado 19••••92: Project Engineer – Kansas City, Missouri As President and General Manager of Burns & McDonnell’s Regional Office Group, I manage, mentor and lead a team of talented individuals, providing leadership for long-term strategy and growth in a manner consistent with Burns & McDonnell’s core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service. I have held several positions since joining Burns & McDonnell in 1988. I started out as a project engineer in Kansas City, and I moved to our Denver office in 1992, where I worked my way from project engineer to project manager and eventually assumed the role of regional manager for that office. In 2008, I returned to Kansas City for my current role. My experience includes working with a large number of municipalities. I have acted as a project engineer and project manager for numerous, significant water projects across Colorado, Wyoming and the Midwest. My successes include the expansion of the Wes Brown Water Treatment Plant for the City of Thornton, Colorado, which at the time was one of the largest membrane retrofits of a water treatment plant in the country. The project improved water quality and expanded the plant’s capacity to accommodate the city’s growth. I have also served as project manager or project principal on several other important water treatment projects including Westminster Northwest WTP, Evanston WTP, Arvada Ralston WTP and Fort Morgan WTP.
