Manage and oversee department operations and its employees during assigned shift.•Oversee guest and employee safety by promoting safe and secure environment and implementing and enforcing state, local jurisdiction, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.•Manages security officers and support staff, including interviewing, hiring, creating employee schedules, implementing approved procedures, training, and evaluating officers, enforcing policy, and administering discipline and coaching as needed. Plans, develops, and directs staffing, work assignments and station coverage.•Give, offer, and accept feedback ensuring open communication between myself, Chief of Security, Shift Managers and Officers.•Acts as a liaison with the appropriate outside agencies during security incidents.•Assists management with onsite investigations; coordinates and supervises onsite investigations as deemed necessary.•Collaborate and create a functional and cohesive relationship with fellow departmental leadership members throughout property to ensure effective lines of communication for our respective teams.•Ensures all guest questions and concerns are addressed immediately, either personally, or by contacting the appropriate department member of management, to obtain the answer to the question, or obtain assistance in resolving the concern. Owns the situation until the situation is resolved, or the guest is in direct contact with the team member who will resolve the situation.•Responds to guest and employee emergencies and reported threats. Document incidents and ensures proper escalation for reporting and resolution purposes.•Process Payroll using Kronos time editor.
