ABOUT PAUL CONDRON

I work with founders, executives and investors to strengthen the structural foundations of growing businesses.I find that most organisations struggle when governance, systems and operating models haven’t kept pace with growth. That misalignment shows up across the business in many forms e.g. missed revenue, compliance exposure, inconsistent service and leadership friction. I focus on fixing the structure beneath the symptoms.My background is in highly regulated and operationally demanding environments including financial services, payments and utilities. Working with regulators and delivering at pace is something I’ve become very familiar with, most recently through my work on the Authorised Push Payment Reimbursement (APPR) scheme and uplift of the Confirmation of Payee (CoP) service working with Pay.uk and the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR). Today, I’m excited about the rapid rise of AI and automation. My view is that AI amplifies whatever structure already exists.Many organisations are rushing to adopt new tools, however, if governance is weak, data is inconsistent and processes are unclear, AI will scale those problems - not solve them. When businesses have the right foundations, operating models and frameworks in place, the sky is the limit.
