My Wife JoAnn and I started Leading Edge Properties, Inc. as a Real Estate Brokerage in 1989, here in Petauma. In 1992, we moved into the Petaluma Marina Offices, as the first to sign a lease there. For about 12 years, we had an office in West Marin, in Tomales, CA, but closed it in 2009. In 2013, we partnered with Mason McDuffie, the oldest San Francisco Realty (1878), and moved downstairs in the same building. The branding is Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Leading Edge Properties. We now have 20 agents, and growing. We have personally owned, or do own virtually every kind of real estate, and performed most kinds of transactions, including 1031 exchanges, reverse exchanges, fractional ownership, and tenants-in-common. We are very familiar with single family homes, condominiums, homes with land, country property issues, ranches, farms, vineyards, horse facilities, waterfront, coastal, vacation homes, ski resorts, high-end homes, subdivisions, speculative home building, lot line adjustments, commercial retail/office/medical properties, duplexes, fourplexes, multi-hundred unit apartment complexes, riverfront, lakefront properties, properties in other states, and foreign countries, like Costa Rica and Panama. We have travelled the world, exploring real estate all over Europe, and even in Fiji and Bali. We bring our personal knowledge and experience to bear, helping our Buyers and Sellers, and investors in Real Estate, consulting with them as if it were our own sale or purchase. We enjoy what we do, and will most likely never retire. We find it always interesting and rewarding to help others accomplish their needs, goals, and dreams in Real Estate. It is a creative experience. We are very personable and approachable, never stiff, or hard-sell, or with hidden agendas. We are described as CARING, CAPABLE, and CREATIVE. We are constantly being referred to others by those we haved helped and served in the past. That is the greatest complement we can receive.
