About Paul Briede

My name is Paul Briede and I\'m currently a Systems Operator with Boeing Flight Operations flying the 737 Max. Prior to this role I was a Pilot with Aurora Flight Sciences in Manassas, VA. In my spare time, I\'m a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) with the Boeing Employee Flying Association. Formerly, I was a Test Director/Flight Test Engineer on the KC-46A Test Program as well as the Lead Flight Test Engineer on an internal AI/Machine Learning R&D aircraft project at Boeing. I’ve always wanted to fly airplanes as far back as I can remember and became a Private Pilot while still in High School. I have experience flying over 40 different aircraft. I attended Drexel University and graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. My experimental flight test experience ranges from commercial (737, 767, and 787), military (USN P-8A, USAF KC-46A) to research and development programs (Pilatus PC-12, DHC-6 Twin Otter, Cessna Caravan, Diamond DA-42 \'Centaur\'). Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, running with my Labrador, and landscaping.
