As the Director at 5 Star Fibre, I had the privilege of leading a team of talented engineers in the construction of a cutting-edge fibre optic network for Digital Infrastructure. Over a span of four months, I successfully managed multiple clusters, overseeing the entire network-building process from inception to completion.A crucial aspect of my role involved rectifying existing works from previous contractors, ensuring a seamless transition and delivering a successfully completed project. I worked closely with project managers, reporting directly to them to ensure timely delivery of the contract.To meet targets and maintain impeccable quality, I meticulously planned and coordinated the efforts of splicing, cabling, and overhead teams. Regular meetings with build managers and project managers allowed us to proactively address and resolve any challenges that arose.My expertise in building various sizes of underground (UG) joints, including splicing, and overhead (OH) joints, including spanning cables, proved instrumental in achieving project milestones. Rigorous testing, using power metre light sources and other advanced tools, guaranteed the reliability and functionality of completed joints, both before and after the network went live.Throughout my tenure, I showcased my commitment to excellence by consistently delivering high-quality results. My attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot legacy errors left by previous contractors enabled me to ensure the network\'s seamless operation.My role as Director encompassed strategic planning, efficient team management, and a relentless pursuit of quality. The experience garnered during my time at 5 Star Fibre has solidified my expertise in digital infrastructure and has prepared me for new challenges in the ever-evolving world of telecommunications.
