More than ever, our youth need relevant, rigorous experiential learning, learning that empowers them to advocate for their well-being, and lead practice, policy and decisions that impact the well-being of their neighborhoods, school campuses and cities. SEMIS place based education, builds community with local educators, making lasting connections with STEM experts across environmental fields. With the rich Great Lakes, and local Huron, River Rouge watersheds, students engage in research, policy and practice that creates forever stewards of our HOMES.
