About Paula Brufman

With over 15 years of international experience, my expertise spans campaign strategy and execution, fundraising, gender, climate change, carbon markets, and renewable energy. I have contributed to the design and implementation of low-carbon, climate-resilient projects and programs in various regions, working with diverse stakeholders from the public and private sectors. I have also coached and supported selected projects to attract investment and achieve financial close. In addition, I have held a co-director position at the Environmental Markets Fairness Foundation, where I campaigned for equitable and transparent environmental markets that benefit local communities. My mission is to leverage my skills and passion to make a significant impact in preserving our planet\'s natural resources.

   E Co. is an international climate finance and development consultancy, uniquely specialized in the design of low-carbon, climate-resilient projects and programs. To complement our consulting work, we provide international training and capacity-building courses, for public and private sector institutions, with an aim to further global skills and understanding of international finance mechanisms and how to access them.On this capacity I have participated of the following projects- “Coopération technique sur l’égalité de genre au bénéfice de Empresas Publicas de Medellin (EPM) en Colombie\" as Gender Regional Expert in charge of Implementation of methodological strategies for gender mainstreaming in projects, design and implementation of strategy for work with affiliates and supply chain, staff training and capacity building on site- “GCF comments LoCAL Tanzania and Bangladesh - UNCDF” as consultant. In this capacity I provisioned of gender assessment for LoCAL deployment in Tanzania, working closely with the Government of Tanzania as well as with UNCDF, and provided overall QA/QC (quality assurance/quality control) to the concept note presented by UNCDF to the Adaptation Fund.
