Primary Duties & Responsibilities• Ensure swift resolution and minimal downtime of issues reported by end users by analyzing, testing, and facilitating resolution of Lawson application errors. • Provide comprehensive system support to end users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth functionality. • Work closely with IT Security to identify, implement, and maintain robust security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware assets, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.• Document procedures, processes, and problems using approved methods, maintaining comprehensive records for future reference and continuous improvement initiatives. • Regularly report current activities, issues, and statuses to IT management, fostering transparency and facilitating informed decision-making processes. • Collaborate with IT department resources, departmental coordinators, and software vendors as needed to diagnose problems and develop/implement effective solutions, promoting teamwork and leveraging expertise for optimal outcomes. • Execute tasks in strict accordance with IT project plans, adhering to established timelines and quality standards to achieve project objectives effectively. • Coordinate the installation of patch & upgrade releases, meticulously testing each deployment to guarantee seamless integration and minimize disruptions.
